Recycling Maker's Class for Kids
Here are a few of the projects we've made in the past:
Pizza Art
Our Pizza Art project allows kids to get creative with cardboard, transforming simple materials into colorful and imaginative pizza creations. They can design their own toppings and even create a pizza box to complete the experience!

Dioramas
Dioramas provided an exciting opportunity for kids to create miniature worlds. Using cardboard and other materials, they built scenes that reflected their interests, from nature to fantasy landscapes.

Cereal Box Puppet Shows
Children can transform cereal boxes and popsicle sticks into colorful puppets to create engaging puppet shows. By decorating the boxes and crafting characters, they unleash their imagination and creativity.

Mother's Day Flowers
For Mother's Day, we crafted beautiful flowers using various craft supplies. Kids used their imagination to design unique flower arrangements, which made for heartfelt gifts to celebrate their mothers.

Carnivals of Cardboard
In our Carnivals of Cardboard project, children designed their own carnival games and attractions using cardboard. This project encouraged teamwork and creativity as they brought their carnival visions to life.

Recycled Bottle Cap Art
Using Recycled bottle caps, kids experimented with shape color and design
Kids used recycled bottle caps in a hands-on experiment to explore creativity through shape, color, and design. This fun activity allowed them to express artistic talents and learn about recycling and sustainability. They collected caps from various sources, sparking imagination with their diverse sizes and colors. After sorting and discussing potential uses, they brainstormed project ideas. Some created colorful mosaics, while others made three-dimensional sculptures. Throughout, they experimented with color combinations and discussed the importance of reusing materials, fostering environmental awareness. The collaborative atmosphere encouraged teamwork and idea-sharing, enhancing their projects. The activity culminated in a showcase where children presented their creations, boosting confidence and inspiring each other. This experience deepened their understanding of recycling's impact and creativity's role in their lives.

3D Collages/iSpy
We created assemblages with surprises hidden within using an embroidery hoop, cardboard, and assorted pieces.

Encouraging Imagination
All of these projects not only foster creativity but also allow kids to use their imagination and get to work. By engaging in hands-on activities, they learn valuable skills while having fun and expressing themselves artistically!
